1. Download and unzip your files

Bundles arrive as a .ZIP folder. Use a desktop or laptop computer.

  1. Download the .ZIP file from your order email or download page.
  2. Open your Downloads folder.
  3. Right-click the file and choose Extract All.
  4. Choose where to save the files, then click Extract.
  5. Open the new folder and double-click any document to open it in Microsoft Word, Excel or Adobe Reader.

2. Edit the templates in Word

Replace the placeholder text with your business name, services, contact details and policies. No Microsoft Word? The free LibreOffice opens and edits the same files. Excel forms include built-in formulas.

4. Update the table of contents

After editing a manual, right-click the table of contents in Word, choose Update Field, then Update entire table. Page numbers and headings refresh automatically.

5. Fill in Adobe PDF forms for free

PDF forms can be printed and filled by hand, or completed on screen with the free Adobe Acrobat Reader.

6. Sign documents electronically

Download the free Adobe Acrobat Reader app, open the PDF, and choose Fill & Sign. Video walkthroughs: 3 free ways to sign a PDF (Adobe steps start at 3:24) and Adobe Fill & Sign tutorial.

7. Bundle verification

Our larger startup bundles are released to registered home care businesses. After purchase, send your name and registered business name through the live chat. Once we confirm the business, your files are released; if we can't verify it, you receive a full refund. For bundles with a custom state manual, we contact you to collect your business details, and the manual is ready in about 1–2 weeks.

8. Refunds

Because these are digital downloads, fulfilled orders are not refundable. If anything is wrong with your files, contact us through the live chat or at info@wisecaregiving.com and we'll fix it. See the full refund policy.
